CVE-2023-6449
Disclosure Date: December 01, 2023 (last updated December 07, 2023)
The Contact Form 7 plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to insufficient file type validation in the 'validate' function and insufficient blocklisting on the 'wpcf7_antiscript_file_name' function in versions up to, and including, 5.8.3. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with editor-level capabilities or above to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server, but due to the htaccess configuration, remote code cannot be executed in most cases. By default, the file will be deleted from the server immediately. However, in some cases, other plugins may make it possible for the file to live on the server longer. This can make remote code execution possible when combined with another vulnerability, such as local file inclusion.

CVE-2023-6352
Disclosure Date: November 30, 2023 (last updated December 12, 2023)
The default configuration of Aquaforest TIFF Server allows access to arbitrary file paths, subject to any restrictions imposed by Internet Information Services (IIS) or Microsoft Windows. Depending on how a web application uses and configures TIFF Server, a remote attacker may be able to enumerate files or directories, traverse directories, bypass authentication, or access restricted files.

CVE-2022-41678
Disclosure Date: November 28, 2023 (last updated May 31, 2024)
Once an user is authenticated on Jolokia, he can potentially trigger arbitrary code execution.
In details, in ActiveMQ configurations, jetty allows
org.jolokia.http.AgentServlet to handler request to /api/jolokia
org.jolokia.http.HttpRequestHandler#handlePostRequest is able to
create JmxRequest through JSONObject. And calls to
org.jolokia.http.HttpRequestHandler#executeRequest.
Into deeper calling stacks,
org.jolokia.handler.ExecHandler#doHandleRequest can be invoked
through refection. This could lead to RCE through via
various mbeans. One example is unrestricted deserialization in jdk.management.jfr.FlightRecorderMXBeanImpl which exists on Java version above 11.
1 Call newRecording.
2 Call setConfiguration. And a webshell data hides in it.
3 Call startRecording.
4 Call copyTo method. The webshell will be written to a .jsp file.
The mitigation is to restrict (by default) the actions authorized on Jolokia, or disable Jolokia.
A more restrictive Jolokia configuration has been d…

CVE-2023-49298
Disclosure Date: November 24, 2023 (last updated December 01, 2023)
OpenZFS through 2.1.13 and 2.2.x through 2.2.1, in certain scenarios involving applications that try to rely on efficient copying of file data, can replace file contents with zero-valued bytes and thus potentially disable security mechanisms. NOTE: this issue is not always security related, but can be security related in realistic situations. A possible example is cp, from a recent GNU Core Utilities (coreutils) version, when attempting to preserve a rule set for denying unauthorized access. (One might use cp when configuring access control, such as with the /etc/hosts.deny file specified in the IBM Support reference.) NOTE: this issue occurs less often in version 2.2.1, and in versions before 2.1.4, because of the default configuration in those versions.

CVE-2023-46672
Disclosure Date: November 15, 2023 (last updated November 23, 2023)
An issue was identified by Elastic whereby sensitive information is recorded in Logstash logs under specific circumstances.
The prerequisites for the manifestation of this issue are:
* Logstash is configured to log in JSON format https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/running-logstash-command-line.html , which is not the default logging format.
* Sensitive data is stored in the Logstash keystore and referenced as a variable in Logstash configuration.

CVE-2023-0436
Disclosure Date: November 07, 2023 (last updated November 15, 2023)
The affected versions of MongoDB Atlas Kubernetes Operator may print sensitive information like GCP service account keys and API integration secrets while DEBUG mode logging is enabled. This issue affects MongoDB Atlas Kubernetes Operator versions: 1.5.0, 1.6.0, 1.6.1, 1.7.0.
Please note that this is reported on an EOL version of the product, and users are advised to upgrade to the latest supported version.
Required Configuration:
DEBUG logging is not enabled by default, and must be configured by the end-user. To check the log-level of the Operator, review the flags passed in your deployment configuration (eg. https://github.com/mongodb/mongodb-atlas-kubernetes/blob/main/config/manager/manager.yaml#L27 https://github.com/mongodb/mongodb-atlas-kubernetes/blob/main/config/manager/manager.yaml#L27 )

CVE-2023-38994
Disclosure Date: October 31, 2023 (last updated November 14, 2023)
The 'check_univention_joinstatus' prometheus monitoring script (and other scripts) in UCS 5.0-5 revealed the LDAP plaintext password of the machine account in the process list allowing attackers with local ssh access to gain higher privileges and perform followup attacks. By default, the configuration of UCS does not allow local ssh access for regular users.

CVE-2023-46288
Disclosure Date: October 23, 2023 (last updated October 28, 2023)
Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor vulnerability in Apache Airflow. This issue affects Apache Airflow from 2.4.0 to 2.7.0.
Sensitive configuration information has been exposed to authenticated users with the ability to read configuration via Airflow REST API for configuration even when the expose_config option is set to non-sensitive-only. The expose_config option is False by default. It is recommended to upgrade to a version that is not affected if you set expose_config to non-sensitive-only configuration. This is a different error than CVE-2023-45348 which allows authenticated user to retrieve individual configuration values in 2.7.* by specially crafting their request (solved in 2.7.2).
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.7.2, which fixes the issue and additionally fixes CVE-2023-45348.

CVE-2023-43658
Disclosure Date: October 16, 2023 (last updated October 21, 2023)
dicourse-calendar is a plugin for the Discourse messaging platform which adds the ability to create a dynamic calendar in the first post of a topic. Improper escaping of event titles could lead to Cross-site Scripting (XSS) within the 'email preview' UI when a site has CSP disabled. Having CSP disabled is a non-default configuration, so the vast majority of sites are unaffected. This problem is resolved in the latest version of the discourse-calendar plugin. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should ensure CSP is enabled on the forum.
