CVE-2019-1634
Disclosure Date: August 21, 2019 (last updated November 27, 2024)
A vulnerability in the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) of Cisco Integrated Management Controller (IMC) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to inject arbitrary commands that are executed with root privileges on the underlying operating system (OS). The vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation of user-supplied commands. An attacker who has administrator privileges and access to the network where the IPMI resides could exploit this vulnerability by submitting crafted input to the affected commands. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to gain root privileges on the affected device.

CVE-2019-12634
Disclosure Date: August 21, 2019 (last updated November 27, 2024)
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Integrated Management Controller (IMC) Supervisor, Cisco UCS Director, and Cisco UCS Director Express for Big Data could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability is due to a missing authentication check in an API call. An attacker who can send a request to an affected system could cause all currently authenticated users to be logged off. Repeated exploitation could cause the inability to maintain a session in the web-based management portal.

CVE-2019-1896
Disclosure Date: August 21, 2019 (last updated November 27, 2024)
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Integrated Management Controller (IMC) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to inject arbitrary commands and obtain root privileges. The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the Certificate Signing Request (CSR) function of the web-based management interface. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted CSR in the web-based management interface. A successful exploit could allow an attacker with administrator privileges to execute arbitrary commands on the device with full root privileges.

CVE-2019-1907
Disclosure Date: August 21, 2019 (last updated November 27, 2024)
A vulnerability in the web server of Cisco Integrated Management Controller (IMC) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to set sensitive configuration values and gain elevated privileges. The vulnerability is due to improper handling of substring comparison operations that are performed by the affected software. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to the affected software. A successful exploit could allow the attacker with read-only privileges to gain administrator privileges.

CVE-2019-1649
Disclosure Date: May 14, 2019 (last updated November 27, 2024)
A vulnerability in the logic that handles access control to one of the hardware components in Cisco's proprietary Secure Boot implementation could allow an authenticated, local attacker to write a modified firmware image to the component. This vulnerability affects multiple Cisco products that support hardware-based Secure Boot functionality. The vulnerability is due to an improper check on the area of code that manages on-premise updates to a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) part of the Secure Boot hardware implementation. An attacker with elevated privileges and access to the underlying operating system that is running on the affected device could exploit this vulnerability by writing a modified firmware image to the FPGA. A successful exploit could either cause the device to become unusable (and require a hardware replacement) or allow tampering with the Secure Boot verification process, which under some circumstances may allow the attacker to install and boot a malicious softw…

CVE-2018-19020
Disclosure Date: February 12, 2019 (last updated November 27, 2024)
When CX-Supervisor (Versions 3.42 and prior) processes project files and tampers with the value of an offset, an attacker can force the application to read a value outside of an array.

CVE-2018-19018
Disclosure Date: February 12, 2019 (last updated November 27, 2024)
An access of uninitialized pointer vulnerability in CX-Supervisor (Versions 3.42 and prior) could lead to type confusion when processing project files. An attacker could use a specially crafted project file to exploit and execute code under the privileges of the application.

CVE-2018-19015
Disclosure Date: January 28, 2019 (last updated November 27, 2024)
An attacker could inject commands to launch programs and create, write, and read files on CX-Supervisor (Versions 3.42 and prior) through a specially crafted project file. An attacker could exploit this to execute code under the privileges of the application.

CVE-2018-19017
Disclosure Date: January 22, 2019 (last updated November 27, 2024)
Several use after free vulnerabilities have been identified in CX-Supervisor (Versions 3.42 and prior). When processing project files, the application fails to check if it is referencing freed memory. An attacker could use a specially crafted project file to exploit and execute code under the privileges of the application.
