Fortra (formerly, HelpSystems) GoAnywhere MFT suffers from a pre-authentication command injection vulnerability in the License Response Servlet due to deserializing an arbitrary attacker-controlled object. This issue was patched in version 7.1.2.

Authentication bypass in Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT prior to 7.4.1 allows an unauthorized user to create an admin user via the administration portal.

When using Apache Tomcat versions 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M4, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.34, 8.5.0 to 8.5.54 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.103 if a) an attacker is able to control the contents and name of a file on the server; and b) the server is configured to use the PersistenceManager with a FileStore; and c) the PersistenceManager is configured with sessionAttributeValueClassNameFilter="null" (the default unless a SecurityManager is used) or a sufficiently lax filter to allow the attacker provided object to be deserialized; and d) the attacker knows the relative file path from the storage location used by FileStore to the file the attacker has control over; then, using a specifically crafted request, the attacker will be able to trigger remote code execution via deserialization of the file under their control. Note that all of conditions a) to d) must be true for the attack to succeed.

An authentication bypass vulnerability in GoAnywhere MFT prior to 7.6.0 allows Admin Users with access to the Agent Console to circumvent some permission checks when attempting to visit other pages. This could lead to unauthorized information disclosure or modification.

A path traversal vulnerability exists in GoAnywhere MFT prior to 7.4.2 which allows attackers to circumvent endpoint-specific permission checks in the GoAnywhere Admin and Web Clients.

A path traversal vulnerability exists within GoAnywhere MFT before 6.8.3 that utilize self-registration for the GoAnywhere Web Client. This vulnerability could potentially allow an external user who self-registers with a specific username and/or profile information to gain access to files at a higher directory level than intended.

The DOM XML parser and SAX XML parser components of TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO Managed File Transfer Command Center, TIBCO Managed File Transfer Command Center, TIBCO Managed File Transfer Internet Server, and TIBCO Managed File Transfer Internet Server contains an easily exploitable vulnerability that allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access to execute XML External Entity (XXE) attacks on the affected system. Affected releases are TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO Managed File Transfer Command Center: versions 8.3.1 and below, TIBCO Managed File Transfer Command Center: versions 8.4.0 and 8.4.1, TIBCO Managed File Transfer Internet Server: versions 8.3.1 and below, and TIBCO Managed File Transfer Internet Server: versions 8.4.0 and 8.4.1.

The cfsend, cfrecv, and CyberResp components of TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO Managed File Transfer Platform Server for UNIX and TIBCO Managed File Transfer Platform Server for z/Linux contain a difficult to exploit Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability that allows a low privileged attacker with network access to execute arbitrary code on the affected system. Affected releases are TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO Managed File Transfer Platform Server for UNIX: versions 8.1.0 and below and TIBCO Managed File Transfer Platform Server for z/Linux: versions 8.1.0 and below.

Kiteworks MFT 7.5 may allow an unauthorized user to reset other users' passwords. This is fixed in version 7.6 and later.

The fix for bug CVE-2020-9484 introduced a time of check, time of use vulnerability into Apache Tomcat 10.1.0-M1 to 10.1.0-M8, 10.0.0-M5 to 10.0.14, 9.0.35 to 9.0.56 and 8.5.55 to 8.5.73 that allowed a local attacker to perform actions with the privileges of the user that the Tomcat process is using. This issue is only exploitable when Tomcat is configured to persist sessions using the FileStore.
