CVE-2024-3727
Disclosure Date: May 14, 2024 (last updated January 20, 2025)
A flaw was found in the github.com/containers/image library. This flaw allows attackers to trigger unexpected authenticated registry accesses on behalf of a victim user, causing resource exhaustion, local path traversal, and other attacks.

CVE-2024-31420
Disclosure Date: April 03, 2024 (last updated November 06, 2024)
A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in KubeVirt. This flaw allows an attacker who has access to a virtual machine guest on a node with DownwardMetrics enabled to cause a denial of service by issuing a high number of calls to vm-dump-metrics --virtio and then deleting the virtual machine.

CVE-2024-31419
Disclosure Date: April 03, 2024 (last updated April 25, 2024)
An information disclosure flaw was found in OpenShift Virtualization. The DownwardMetrics feature was introduced to expose host metrics to virtual machine guests and is enabled by default. This issue could expose limited host metrics of a node to any guest in any namespace without being explicitly enabled by an administrator.

CVE-2024-1394
Disclosure Date: March 21, 2024 (last updated August 21, 2024)
A memory leak flaw was found in Golang in the RSA encrypting/decrypting code, which might lead to a resource exhaustion vulnerability using attacker-controlled inputs. The memory leak happens in github.com/golang-fips/openssl/openssl/rsa.go#L113. The objects leaked are pkey and ctx. That function uses named return parameters to free pkey and ctx if there is an error initializing the context or setting the different properties. All return statements related to error cases follow the "return nil, nil, fail(...)" pattern, meaning that pkey and ctx will be nil inside the deferred function that should free them.

CVE-2023-5366
Disclosure Date: October 06, 2023 (last updated October 13, 2023)
A flaw was found in Open vSwitch that allows ICMPv6 Neighbor Advertisement packets between virtual machines to bypass OpenFlow rules. This issue may allow a local attacker to create specially crafted packets with a modified or spoofed target IP address field that can redirect ICMPv6 traffic to arbitrary IP addresses.

CVE-2023-1668
Disclosure Date: April 10, 2023 (last updated October 08, 2023)
A flaw was found in openvswitch (OVS). When processing an IP packet with protocol 0, OVS will install the datapath flow without the action modifying the IP header. This issue results (for both kernel and userspace datapath) in installing a datapath flow matching all IP protocols (nw_proto is wildcarded) for this flow, but with an incorrect action, possibly causing incorrect handling of other IP packets with a != 0 IP protocol that matches this dp flow.

CVE-2022-2132
Disclosure Date: August 31, 2022 (last updated October 08, 2023)
A permissive list of allowed inputs flaw was found in DPDK. This issue allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service triggered by sending a crafted Vhost header to DPDK.

CVE-2021-3669
Disclosure Date: August 26, 2022 (last updated October 08, 2023)
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. Measuring usage of the shared memory does not scale with large shared memory segment counts which could lead to resource exhaustion and DoS.

CVE-2021-3609
Disclosure Date: March 03, 2022 (last updated October 07, 2023)
.A flaw was found in the CAN BCM networking protocol in the Linux kernel, where a local attacker can abuse a flaw in the CAN subsystem to corrupt memory, crash the system or escalate privileges. This race condition in net/can/bcm.c in the Linux kernel allows for local privilege escalation to root.

CVE-2020-27827
Disclosure Date: March 18, 2021 (last updated November 08, 2023)
A flaw was found in multiple versions of OpenvSwitch. Specially crafted LLDP packets can cause memory to be lost when allocating data to handle specific optional TLVs, potentially causing a denial of service. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability.
