CVE-2020-24944

Disclosure Date: February 08, 2021 (last updated February 22, 2025)
picoquic (before 3rd of July 2020) allows attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop) via a crafted QUIC frame, related to the picoquic_decode_frames and picoquic_decode_stream_frame functions and epoch==3.

CVE-2021-22161

Disclosure Date: February 07, 2021 (last updated February 22, 2025)
In OpenWrt 19.07.x before 19.07.7, when IPv6 is used, a routing loop can occur that generates excessive network traffic between an affected device and its upstream ISP's router. This occurs when a link prefix route points to a point-to-point link, a destination IPv6 address belongs to the prefix and is not a local IPv6 address, and a router advertisement is received with at least one global unique IPv6 prefix for which the on-link flag is set. This affects the netifd and odhcp6c packages.

CVE-2021-0221

Disclosure Date: January 13, 2021 (last updated February 22, 2025)
In an EVPN/VXLAN scenario, if an IRB interface with a virtual gateway address (VGA) is configured on a PE, a traffic loop may occur upon receipt of specific IP multicast traffic. The traffic loop will cause interface traffic to increase abnormally, ultimately leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) in packet processing. The following command could be used to monitor the interface traffic: user@junos> monitor interface traffic Interface Link Input packets (pps) Output packets (pps) et-0/0/1 Up 6492089274364 (70994959) 6492089235319 (70994956) et-0/0/25 Up 343458103 (1) 156844 (0) ae0 Up 9132519197257 (70994959) 9132519139454 (70994956) This issue affects Juniper Networks Junos OS on QFX Series: all versions prior to 17.3R3-S10; 17.4 versions prior to 17.4R2-S12, 17.4R3-S3; 18.1 versions prior to 18.1R3-S11; 18.2 versions prior to 18.2R3-S6; 18.3 versions prior to 18.3R3-S4; 18.4 versions prior to 18.4R2-S5, 18.4R3-S5; 19.1 versions prior to 19.1R1-S6, 19.1R2-S2, 19.1R3-S3; 19.2 versions p…

CVE-2021-21235

Disclosure Date: January 06, 2021 (last updated February 22, 2025)
kamadak-exif is an exif parsing library written in pure Rust. In kamadak-exif version 0.5.2, there is an infinite loop in parsing crafted PNG files. Specifically, reader::read_from_container can cause an infinite loop when a crafted PNG file is given. This is fixed in version 0.5.3. No workaround is available. Applications that do not pass files with the PNG signature to Reader::read_from_container are not affected.

On Tenda AC1200 (Model AC6) 15.03.06.51_multi devices, a large HTTP POST request sent to the change password API will trigger the router to crash and enter an infinite boot loop.

CVE-2020-29385

Disclosure Date: December 26, 2020 (last updated February 22, 2025)
GNOME gdk-pixbuf (aka GdkPixbuf) before 2.42.2 allows a denial of service (infinite loop) in lzw.c in the function write_indexes. if c->self_code equals 10, self->code_table[10].extends will assign the value 11 to c. The next execution in the loop will assign self->code_table[11].extends to c, which will give the value of 10. This will make the loop run infinitely. This bug can, for example, be triggered by calling this function with a GIF image with LZW compression that is crafted in a special way.

CVE-2020-35609

Disclosure Date: December 22, 2020 (last updated February 22, 2025)
A denial-of-service vulnerability exists in the asynchronous ioctl functionality of Microsoft Azure Sphere 20.05. A sequence of specially crafted ioctl calls can cause a denial of service. An attacker can write shellcode to trigger this vulnerability.

CVE-2020-24337

Disclosure Date: December 11, 2020 (last updated February 22, 2025)
An issue was discovered in picoTCP and picoTCP-NG through 1.7.0. When an unsupported TCP option with zero length is provided in an incoming TCP packet, it is possible to cause a Denial-of-Service by achieving an infinite loop in the code that parses TCP options, aka tcp_parse_options() in pico_tcp.c.
