Mozilla based browsers, including Firefox before 1.5.0.10 and 2.x before 2.0.0.2, and SeaMonkey before 1.0.8, allow remote attackers to bypass the same origin policy, steal cookies, and conduct other attacks by writing a URI with a null byte to the hostname (location.hostname) DOM property, due to interactions with DNS resolver code.

Mozilla Firefox before 1.5.0.5, Thunderbird before 1.5.0.5, and SeaMonkey before 1.0.3 allows remote attackers to reference remote files and possibly load chrome: URLs by tricking the user into copying or dragging links.

Cross-domain vulnerability in Mozilla Firefox allows remote attackers to access restricted information from other domains via an object tag with a data parameter that references a link on the attacker's originating site that specifies a Location HTTP header that references the target site, which then makes that content available through the outerHTML attribute of the object. Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird before 1.5.0.4 allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via (1) nested <option> tags in a select tag, (2) a DOMNodeRemoved mutation event, (3) "Content-implemented tree views," (4) BoxObjects, (5) the XBL implementation, (6) an iframe that attempts to remove itself, which leads to memory corruption.
