CVE-2019-19193

Disclosure Date: February 10, 2020 (last updated November 27, 2024)
The Bluetooth Low Energy peripheral implementation on Texas Instruments SIMPLELINK-CC2640R2-SDK through 3.30.00.20 and BLE-STACK through 1.5.0 before Q4 2019 for CC2640R2 and CC2540/1 devices does not properly restrict the advertisement connection request packet on reception, allowing attackers in radio range to cause a denial of service (crash) via a crafted packet.

CVE-2019-17517

Disclosure Date: February 10, 2020 (last updated February 21, 2025)
The Bluetooth Low Energy implementation on Dialog Semiconductor SDK through 5.0.4 for DA14580/1/2/3 devices does not properly restrict the L2CAP payload length, allowing attackers in radio range to cause a buffer overflow via a crafted Link Layer packet.

CVE-2019-17520

Disclosure Date: February 10, 2020 (last updated February 21, 2025)
The Bluetooth Low Energy implementation on Texas Instruments SDK through 3.30.00.20 for CC2640R2 devices does not properly restrict the SM Public Key packet on reception, allowing attackers in radio range to cause a denial of service (crash) via crafted packets.

CVE-2019-17518

Disclosure Date: February 10, 2020 (last updated February 21, 2025)
The Bluetooth Low Energy implementation on Dialog Semiconductor SDK through 1.0.14.1081 for DA1468x devices responds to link layer packets with a payload length larger than expected, allowing attackers in radio range to cause a buffer overflow via a crafted packet. This affects, for example, August Smart Lock.

CVE-2019-17060

Disclosure Date: February 10, 2020 (last updated February 21, 2025)
The Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) stack implementation on the NXP KW41Z (based on the MCUXpresso SDK with Bluetooth Low Energy Driver 2.2.1 and earlier) does not properly restrict the BLE Link Layer header and executes certain memory contents upon receiving a packet with a Link Layer ID (LLID) equal to zero. This allows attackers within radio range to cause deadlocks, cause anomalous behavior in the BLE state machine, or trigger a buffer overflow via a crafted BLE Link Layer frame.

CVE-2020-3120 (AKA: CDPwn)

Disclosure Date: February 05, 2020 (last updated February 21, 2025)
A vulnerability in the Cisco Discovery Protocol implementation for Cisco FXOS Software, Cisco IOS XR Software, and Cisco NX-OS Software could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to cause a reload of an affected device, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability is due to a missing check when the affected software processes Cisco Discovery Protocol messages. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a malicious Cisco Discovery Protocol packet to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to exhaust system memory, causing the device to reload. Cisco Discovery Protocol is a Layer 2 protocol. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker must be in the same broadcast domain as the affected device (Layer 2 adjacent).

Kubectl/API Server YAML parsing vulnerable to "Billion Laughs" Attack

Disclosure Date: October 17, 2019 (last updated November 08, 2023)
Improper input validation in the Kubernetes API server in versions v1.0-1.12 and versions prior to v1.13.12, v1.14.8, v1.15.5, and v1.16.2 allows authorized users to send malicious YAML or JSON payloads, causing the API server to consume excessive CPU or memory, potentially crashing and becoming unavailable. Prior to v1.14.0, default RBAC policy authorized anonymous users to submit requests that could trigger this vulnerability. Clusters upgraded from a version prior to v1.14.0 keep the more permissive policy by default for backwards compatibility.
