CVE-2021-3711

Disclosure Date: August 24, 2021 (last updated February 23, 2025)
In order to decrypt SM2 encrypted data an application is expected to call the API function EVP_PKEY_decrypt(). Typically an application will call this function twice. The first time, on entry, the "out" parameter can be NULL and, on exit, the "outlen" parameter is populated with the buffer size required to hold the decrypted plaintext. The application can then allocate a sufficiently sized buffer and call EVP_PKEY_decrypt() again, but this time passing a non-NULL value for the "out" parameter. A bug in the implementation of the SM2 decryption code means that the calculation of the buffer size required to hold the plaintext returned by the first call to EVP_PKEY_decrypt() can be smaller than the actual size required by the second call. This can lead to a buffer overflow when EVP_PKEY_decrypt() is called by the application a second time with a buffer that is too small. A malicious attacker who is able present SM2 content for decryption to an application could cause attacker chosen data …

CVE-2021-37180

Disclosure Date: August 10, 2021 (last updated February 23, 2025)
A vulnerability has been identified in Solid Edge SE2021 (All Versions < SE2021MP7). The PSKERNEL.dll library lacks proper validation while parsing user-supplied OBJ files that could cause an out of bounds access to an uninitialized pointer. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. (ZDI-CAN-13775)

CVE-2021-37178

Disclosure Date: August 10, 2021 (last updated February 23, 2025)
A vulnerability has been identified in Solid Edge SE2021 (All Versions < SE2021MP7). An XML external entity injection vulnerability in the underlying XML parser could cause the affected application to disclose arbitrary files to remote attackers by loading a specially crafted xml file.

CVE-2021-37179

Disclosure Date: August 10, 2021 (last updated February 23, 2025)
A vulnerability has been identified in Solid Edge SE2021 (All Versions < SE2021MP7). The PSKERNEL.dll library in affected application lacks proper validation while parsing user-supplied OBJ files that could lead to a use-after-free condition. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. (ZDI-CAN-13777)

CVE-2021-38202

Disclosure Date: August 08, 2021 (last updated February 23, 2025)
fs/nfsd/trace.h in the Linux kernel before 5.13.4 might allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read in strlen) by sending NFS traffic when the trace event framework is being used for nfsd.

CVE-2021-38203

Disclosure Date: August 08, 2021 (last updated February 23, 2025)
btrfs in the Linux kernel before 5.13.4 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (deadlock) via processes that trigger allocation of new system chunks during times when there is a shortage of free space in the system space_info.

CVE-2021-38199

Disclosure Date: August 08, 2021 (last updated November 28, 2024)
fs/nfs/nfs4client.c in the Linux kernel before 5.13.4 has incorrect connection-setup ordering, which allows operators of remote NFSv4 servers to cause a denial of service (hanging of mounts) by arranging for those servers to be unreachable during trunking detection.

CVE-2021-38201

Disclosure Date: August 08, 2021 (last updated February 23, 2025)
net/sunrpc/xdr.c in the Linux kernel before 5.13.4 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (xdr_set_page_base slab-out-of-bounds access) by performing many NFS 4.2 READ_PLUS operations.

CVE-2021-38160

Disclosure Date: August 07, 2021 (last updated February 23, 2025)
In drivers/char/virtio_console.c in the Linux kernel before 5.13.4, data corruption or loss can be triggered by an untrusted device that supplies a buf->len value exceeding the buffer size. NOTE: the vendor indicates that the cited data corruption is not a vulnerability in any existing use case; the length validation was added solely for robustness in the face of anomalous host OS behavior

CVE-2021-22923

Disclosure Date: August 05, 2021 (last updated February 23, 2025)
When curl is instructed to get content using the metalink feature, and a user name and password are used to download the metalink XML file, those same credentials are then subsequently passed on to each of the servers from which curl will download or try to download the contents from. Often contrary to the user's expectations and intentions and without telling the user it happened.
