IBM DataPower Gateway 2018.4.1.0 through 2018.4.1.6, 7.6.0.0 through 7.6.0.15 and IBM MQ Appliance 8.0.0.0 through 8.0.0.12, 9.1.0.0 through 9.1.0.2, and 9.1.1 through 9.1.2 could allow a local attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system, caused by a command injection vulnerability. CF CLI version prior to v6.45.0 (bosh release version 1.16.0) writes the client id and secret to its config file when the user authenticates with --client-credentials flag. A local authenticated malicious user with access to the CF CLI config file can act as that client, who is the owner of the leaked credentials.

IBM WebSphere MQ V7.1, 7.5, IBM MQ V8, IBM MQ V9.0LTS, IBM MQ V9.1 LTS, and IBM MQ V9.1 CD are vulnerable to a denial of service attack caused by specially crafted messages. IBM X-Force ID: 160013.

It was found that the Apache ActiveMQ client before 5.14.5 exposed a remote shutdown command in the ActiveMQConnection class. An attacker logged into a compromised broker could use this flaw to achieve denial of service on a connected client.

In ZeroMQ libzmq before 4.0.9, 4.1.x before 4.1.7, and 4.2.x before 4.3.2, a remote, unauthenticated client connecting to a libzmq application, running with a socket listening with CURVE encryption/authentication enabled, may cause a stack overflow and overwrite the stack with arbitrary data, due to a buffer overflow in the library. Users running public servers with the above configuration are highly encouraged to upgrade as soon as possible, as there are no known mitigations.

In Bevywise MQTTRoute 1.1 build 1018-002, a connect packet combined with a malformed unsubscribe request packet can be used to cause a Denial of Service attack against the broker.

An issue is present in Apache ZooKeeper 1.0.0 to 3.4.13 and 3.5.0-alpha to 3.5.4-beta. ZooKeeper’s getACL() command doesn’t check any permission when retrieves the ACLs of the requested node and returns all information contained in the ACL Id field as plaintext string. DigestAuthenticationProvider overloads the Id field with the hash value that is used for user authentication. As a consequence, if Digest Authentication is in use, the unsalted hash value will be disclosed by getACL() request for unauthenticated or unprivileged users.

IBM WebSphere MQ 8.0.0.0 through 8.0.0.9 and 9.0.0.0 through 9.1.1 could allow a local non privileged user to execute code as an administrator due to incorrect permissions set on MQ installation directories. IBM X-Force ID: 157190.
